Privacy Policy

Robin is a free, open-source GitHub Action that runs inside your own repository. The Robin software never sees or stores your source code — your code stays between your GitHub Actions runner and the LLM provider you configure. This policy covers only the robinreview.dev website.

What we collect

  • Newsletter email. If you subscribe, we store the email address you provide so we can send Robin release notes and setup guides.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, referrer, approximate region, device type). This is statistical, not used to identify you personally.
  • Server logs. Our host and CDN process standard request metadata (IP address, user agent) to serve and protect the site.

We do not ask for your name, run user accounts, or take payments on this site. Sponsorships are handled entirely by GitHub Sponsors under GitHub’s own terms.

How we use it

The newsletter email is used only to email you about Robin, and only when there is something worth sharing. Analytics and logs are used to improve the site and keep it reliable. We do not sell or rent your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Cookies & local storage

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure traffic. Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser’s localStorage and never leaves your device. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Third-party services

  • Cloudflare Turnstile — bot/spam verification on the signup form.
  • Formspark — receives and stores newsletter form submissions.
  • Resend — stores subscriber emails and delivers the newsletter.
  • Google Analytics 4 — aggregate website analytics.
  • Cloudflare — website hosting, DNS, and content delivery.

Each processes data under its own privacy terms.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us. Under GDPR and CCPA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the email data we hold — just contact us and we’ll action it. We never sell personal information.

Data retention

We keep your newsletter email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics’ default retention settings.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we’ll update the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
